Gustavo Sannia

(Napoli 1875-ivi 1930)


Studied at Napoli with his father, Achille, and with D. Montesano and graduated in 1900. At Torino he was an assistent of E. D'Ovidio (who was his uncle) and of G. Fubini who influenced heavily his mathematical tastes. Taught at Modena since 1922 and at Napoli since 1924.

His main contributions are about projective-differential geometry and on problems regarding the sums of series.
